Timp Caves in American Fork Canyon

We went on a hike to the Timpanogos Caves on Saturday and loved it. My favorite part is just the hike up to the caves because of how pretty it is, but we had time to go through the caves. The hike up took about 35-40 minutes and then we went on a tour of the caves which took like 45 minutes. It was a nice little hike and Dustin loved taking pictures of the view of American Fork canyon.
The view on the trail was gorgeous!

It was a tight squeeze in the caves... and VERY cold!

Haha..
There were cute little chipmunks along the trail. You are not supposed to feed them but we wanted them to come closer to us so we 'accidentally' dropped some peanuts...

"You keep your eye on this tucass, all the way to San Francisco!"

We spent literally a whole day in San Francisco together with my mom. We walked the Golden Gate Bridge, spent time at Golden Gate park, took a lot of pictures at Twin Peaks and Coit Tower. We also ate lunch in Little Italy which was a lot of fun. Dustin and I got Italian cream sodas as usual. We spent some time down by the wharf and Pier 39. There were some very entertaining street dancers and people trying to make money on the street. They volunteered Dustin to help them out. It was pretty funny. They gave him the nickname of Brad Pitt. Loved it. Then we chilled by the bridge waiting for the sun to go down so Dustin could take some cool night photos of the bridge.
The view from Twin Peaks
Here we are in Little Italy eating at Cafe Delucchi. So yummy!
The Mrs. Doubtfire house!
...and Dustin's Full House house he has always wanted to fin in San Fran haha
This was at Golden Gate Park. Very pretty spots and very green water for some reason..

This Summer at a Glance

So this summer we won't be too busy but we have a few big things that we are doing that we are pretty excited about.
Tomorrow actually we will be flying to California to shoot a wedding for my dear friend Jenna who is getting married in the Oakland Temple and then having her reception at her home, sounds very familiar... And we are also extending our stay and turning the rest of the week into our yearly family vacation. Our vacation is driving down to Pismo Beach in SoCal for 3 days. We will be camping right on the beach with my dads new camper he is so excited about, and we will be sand duning! Sweet! Then when we come back to Santa Rosa we will be celebrating my dad's 49th birthday (wow), spending a day in San Francisco, a half day at the beach, a little kayaking down the Russian River and then another family get together on my mom's side. Family Photo!

The next big thing is 4th of July weekend. It is huge here in Provo and it is such a fun weekend. They have a big "Freedom Festival" that lasts from the 2nd to the 5th with parades, the air ballon fest, carnival rides, lots of fun booths/shopping, and of course.....The Stadium of Fire!!!!!!!!!!!! I am so dang excited. Carrie Underwood is performing there this year and as soon as I heard I jumped on that like a fat kid on cake. My mom, Jelina, Sierra, Dustin and I are going on the 3rd and have yet to find someone to use our 6th ticket.

In the middle of July, the weekend of my 22nd birthday we will be heading down to Las Vegas for the weekend. My mom got tickets to see Garth Brooks one night, Jelina has not been there before so it will be new to her and we will have lots of fun at our hotel pool at the Mirage. Yay!

We are planning on doing a lot of camping as well. It is our favorite and hopefully we can head down to Zion's National park for a weekend as well since we both have never been there.

Dustin and I also just joined a gym membership at 24 Fitness so we have a goal to work out 5-6 times a week and hope to improve our certain areas that need improvement... We are pretty excited and it feels great when we work out. We feel like we have more energy and we have been striving to eat healthier as well.

So that is all for now. Yes very simple but it is what we are looking forward to as of right now.

So I tried so hard to avoid watching Bachelorette and getting involved with fake TV show drama... But I can't help it. I have to watch it. Have to.
