Viva Las Vegas!!!

This last weekend we went to Las Vegas with our friends Chance and Emily Harding. It was Emily's birthday weekend and she wanted us to come with them and we were super excited to go!
We stayed at Caesars Palace and it was awesome! It almost felt like we were in Greece haha. Naked statues EVERYWHERE.
There was a lot of walking involved going from place to place all day every day. Our feet really hurt after while. We checked out all kinds of resorts. The Bellagio (as seen in Oceans 11), Stratosphere (The big tall skinny one), Luxor (giant pyramid), New York New York with their awesome roller coaster, Paris, Treasure Island with all the pirates, The Mirage, The MGM entertainment center, Rio, The Palms, Excalibur, Circus Circus and more! Caesar's Palace was still my favorite though. Emily and I got pictures with some Chippendales which was awesome. There were a lot of dancing girl shows we all enjoyed as well ha.
Sometimes it was fun just to simply people watch. And man were there some crazy and interesting characters!!!
We left on Thursday morning and got back last night exaughsted. We didn't have a ton of money to go see all the shows we wanted to but we still did so much. We had a lot of fun, saw all kinds of things, and enjoyed a lot of laughs with our friends.
Since we took so many pictures we thought we would just post them on facebook and put the link in here. Here are some of the pictures we took:

Tut! Tut! It looks like rain!

Today we were both in a silly mood and were walkin' around the complex listening to the thunder. We got excited so we went up on the roof of the complex and hung out while it rained and rumbled thunder. Here are some goofy pictures of us with our little blue umbrella :)
Yes it seems like a silly thing to get excited about but we enjoyed ourselves, Dustin brought up his mini ipod stereo and we ate Mike n' Ikes. What a day :)

Let's Go to Home Depot!!!

So since it has gotten warmer we have needed to make the apartment complex we work at look better and do a lot of yard work. We surprisingly enjoy doing it and spend a lot of time figuring out what could make this place look nice. It is an old complex so it always needs work. Dustin does most of the hard labor, and he seems to enjoy it...which I am perfectly okay with that.
So we make weekly trips to Home Depot together, and I usually find something I get excited about, like some flowers. This is what it looked like before....YUCK!

Here is the office and some flowers I was excited to put in front of it. Pretty!
Flowers in front of Heather and soon to be Sierra and my sister Jelina's apartment :)

This is Dustin's current project that he is almost done with. As you can see the first two pictures were hideous spider looking plants and Dustin hated them so he tore them out, made the soil nicer, fixed sprinklers and planted Hosta plants. Our owner trusts us to do whatever to make the place look good and so he just started tearing this area up without mentioning it. She will see it tomorrow, hopefully she likes it!
These are the spider plants that used to there.
Whoa!!!! What a big rock lifting hottie!
Check out his awesome wheelbarrow...

"Hmmm..."

All done!

Thank you Austin for being an inspirtation to Dustin and giving him helpful advice:)

Quack! Quack!

Last week we had some extra bread that we didn't want, so we went down to the pond on BYU campus and fed the duckies :) It was very relaxing and nice to sit by the pond and watch the many ducks swim around, play, sometimes fight, and chase our pieces of bread.
This picture below is my favorite!
Cute!

This turtle was so brave. Ducks were flying by him, jumping around on his log and shakin' his balance. The claws came out!

Booty, booty, booty!

Video Scavenger Hunt...

Last night we were invited to hang out with some of the students that live here at Park Plaza. It was a group date night and we felt very special to be invited:). We went out to dinner first at TGIFridays. Dustin ate a ginormous burger and I had sizzling chicken and shrimp.
During the course of dinner we all ripped up napkins and wrote down all kinds of funny tasks, phrases, actions etc. We put all those ideas in a bowl and picked out a bunch of them in each group to go perform these things. We had to video each scene or take a picture of as many tasks as we could in 20 minutes.

Some of the tasks we got were:
-Put items in someones cart while they are watching you.
-Be a dead person in the middle of the road...
-Page Chuck Norris over the intercom at a grocery store
-Propose to a stranger
-Rap a song while waiting in line at the store
-Scream as loud as you can while people are watching
-Do a Lord of the Dance impression
-Sneeze
-Pretend to be a Jehovah's witness and knock on someones door
-Hug an old person (This was hard to find since we did this at 10pm ha)
-Drive through a fast food place, backwards
-Picky Picky
And many more!!!

I didn't get very many pictures because most were on another camera but here are a few from last night.

I had to show a pic of Dustin trying to eat this burger. Huge!

He put about 10 mini doughnuts in this foreign lady's basket haha

This is the other Dustin. He is quite the comedian!
Nate and girlfriend

We had some good laughs and it was very entertaining for people not understanding quite what we were doing.
We made some really fun friends and had a great time. Afterwards they came over to watch X-Men and eat some of my chocolate chip cookies. Great way to end the day :)

Bizkit the sleepwalking dog...

Last night we had Dustin's Dad (who is visiting this weekend) and Dustin's sister Taylor, her husband Austin and their cute son Dallin over for dinner. We had yummy enchiladas made by Taylor and enjoyed hanging out...until 11pm haha.
We love watching funny youtube videos and so we got to looking up all our favorite videos and then finding more new ones as well. We probably watched videos on our AppleTV for about 3 hours! I don't think I have seen Austin laugh so hard; his favorite was definately Bizkit the sleepwalking dog.

Some of our favorites were:

Bizkit the Sleepwalking Dog

Baaa-Studs Extreme Sheep

The Stealth Cat

Subaru Kenblock Racing

Ikea Mattress Commercial
